Among the many beaches of the Greek island of Chios special attention certainly deserves the magnificent sandy beach Elinda. It is located on the west coast of the island about 25 km from the town of Chios (Chora), in a secluded, well-protected from the winds bay surrounded by pine-clad mountains.

Elinda - unorganized beach and primarily attracts its picturesque scenery and crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea. This is a great place for lovers of holidays in peace and away from civilization in harmony with nature.

Not far from the beach Elinda is an abandoned medieval settlement Anavatos.
