Palazzo Biscari - a private property in Catania, erected for the Duke of Biscari kind Paterno Castello. Construction of the palace began in the late 17th century after a devastating earthquake in 1693 and lasted nearly a century. Palazzo was built directly in front of the city walls (the so-called Wall of Charles V), partially survived the quake.
