Church of the Holy Trinity in the village Chernavchitsy - a medieval monument of Belarusian architecture. The first church on the site was built in the days when Chernavchitsy owned Ilyinich race - in the XV century. Last of Yuri Ilyinich had no heirs and bequeathed all his property, along with eminent Chernavchitsy his cousin Prince Nicholas Kristof Radziwill Orphan.

Kikolay Kristof Radziwill Orphan commanded in 1583 to build a temple-fortress on the site Chernavchitsah dilapidated old temple, apparently wishing to give additional protection to the public. Time it was hectic, the enemy could be expected from either side. The temple has a pronounced defensive traits: massive walls, narrow slits, high tower, from which you can survey the neighborhood.

In 1661, by order of the bishop of Smolensk Jerzy Belazora was conducted restoration of an ancient temple. After the repairs, the church was re-consecrated in the name of the Holy Trinity.

After the Polish national liberation uprising of the Russian authorities decided to close the Catholic Church. Trinity Church in Chernavchitsah in 1867 was handed over to the Orthodox Church and acquired Byzantine features.

At the beginning of the XX century Trinity Church was returned to the Catholics. During the Nazi occupation of the church at the mass executions, which is reminiscent of the obelisk mounted its walls.

During the Soviet regime the temple has not acted. Today is an active Catholic church. After the transfer of the Church of believers in 2010, it was reconstructed.
