Old manor in the village belonged to the ancient family Grushovka Reitan - Prussian aristocratic family from the XVI century. In the XVII century manor inherited Dominic Reitan, who decided to build a beautiful stone house in the classical style.
The next owner of the estate began to Alina and Josef Reiter. When they Manors economy flourished, and the estate became one of the richest, but Jozef was ill and doctors advised him to live in a stone house. So at the end of the XIX century on the site of an old stone house was built new wooden, cut down from a very expensive and high-quality material. The large house has an attic floor, and on the porch with carved pillars was built terrace.
The house was built by Dutch tiled stoves, had a parquet floor, walls and ceilings were painted, and the ceilings hung with precious chandeliers. The house has its own art gallery and hunting hall. The house was furnished with expensive furniture.
The house is connected with the life and death of a prominent politician, diplomat and philosopher of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Tadeusz Reitan, who tried to prevent the first section of Rzeczpospolita and even derail a diet. He lay on the floor in front of the deputies and the historic phrase uttered: "Kill me, do not kill the Motherland! ". The deputies did not want to kill the Polish patriot, but agreed to the partition of the motherland. In recent years, Tadeusz Rejtan lived in one of the wings tribal estates, where committed suicide.
Now the manor Reitan is in poor condition. Wooden house, where once was a club, is boarded up. Brick buildings stables used by the barn. Also in the ruins is the generic Chapel Reitan. Relatively well preserved only the old park with lime avenues.
