Heart of Jesus Church, or the Church of the Sacred Heart, is the largest neo-Gothic church in Bregenz, Austria. The church is located on the eastern shore of Lake Constance, it rises majestically above the lower town. It belongs to the diocese of Feldkirch.

The church was built largely by donations from ordinary citizens of the city of Bregenz in 1905. Building Design worked famous architect from Stuttgart Joseph Cades. According to plans of the church was to have almost a cruciform appearance as well as the basilica with two towers 62 meters in height in the Gothic Revival style brick. The most important feature of the basilica is a high lantern.

The church was built very quickly, almost a year. Completion noted October 21, 1906. Over the years, the church has changed and acquired its present appearance in the last decade.

At the beginning of the Second World War it was built altars in the Gothic Revival style. On the altar are the statues and reliefs, including those dedicated to the birth of Christ, as well as: sacrificial lamb, Christ on the Mount of Olives. Above the main altar there are beautiful stained-glass windows. Another pride of the church - the body established by Joseph Behmanom, appeared in 1931. The tool has an amazing sound that can be heard today. Double body repaired - in 1953 and 1992. In 1963, cracks were discovered on two bells, so that they had to be replaced.

In 1969, the temple was reconstructed. In the early 90-ies in the church were made heated floors for better heating such a large space. Anniversary Service held on 23 November 2008 in honor of the centennial of the church. Today, the church attracts tourists and is one of the symbols of Bregenz.
