Located in the building of the Second World War, the Ethnographic Museum in Bangkok is a description of life of residents of the capital of these times. The original building, built in 1937, belonged to the family Suravadi, but later he was sent to the organization of the museum in order to preserve the way of life of early Bangkok Bangrak District. October 1, 2004 the museum moved under the management of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

Ethnographic Museum consists of two two-storey buildings and a cozy garden. In the central building located objects left over from Suravadi family originally lived in the building of the present museum. In particular, to have survived Bendzharong vase of fine porcelain with a list of five basic colors the period of King Rama V (1858 - 1910 gg.). The museum preserves items of porcelain and historic Rattanakosin period.

In the second building on the museum supposed to live Dr. Francis Christian, the stepfather of the owner, but he did not live up to the move and tragically died. Instead of doctors here is its rich collection of cigars and bricks from the early 20th century. You can even see the real Bangkok cuisine war period and in the second room toilet and bathroom demonstrated the same time.

Together with the ethnographic museum with the support of the Bangkok administration works and the museum district of Bangrak. It keeps a record of the history of the area on how to build roads and houses, who was born and who died.
