Arkhangelsk Regional Museum is one of the oldest museums in the north - it was opened Jan. 1, 1837. The museum exposition is located in two buildings: the main - the department of nature, five exhibitions on history, museum and exhibition complex "Gostiny Dvor" - four exhibitions, a concert and lecture halls, exhibition and sale of handicrafts.
