Haci Bayram Mosque

Haci Bayram Mosque built in the XV century on the ruins of a Byzantine church. Even before there was a temple of Augustus, from which preserved only remnants of walls, and they cut out the text of the testament of the Emperor Augustus.

Haji Bayram Wali, after whom the mosque is named, was the founder of the dervish order Bajrami. He was buried in a mausoleum with a marble facade and dome of lead. Internal doors of the mosque were replaced by copies, and the original is kept at the Ethnographic Museum in Ankara.
