Cathedral of St. Nicholas is located in Alicante in the square named after the abbot Penalvy. The cathedral was built on the site of the destroyed mosque in the period between 1616 and 1662 GG This is a fairly strict and restrained appearance building, built in the late Renaissance style with elements of the early Baroque.
