A.I.Roffe was a wealthy merchant and was the owner of the guild "Roffe and Sons." In the late 19th century, he decided to build on the seafront of Yalta new baths. The draft took the famous architect Nikolai Krasnov, who had already designed the Grand Livadia Palace. The place for the construction of new facilities, has been chosen the yard of the hotel "France", and already in 1897 the building was completed.

Entrance to the building is decorated with beautiful ceremonial baths portal, designed in the Moorish style. The facade is decorated with an inscription taken from the Muslim holy book the Koran, "Be blessed water", and before the actual entrance disbanded its old magnolia branches. The basis of the interior design of the hall baths became a Moroccan style, the walls made a very beautiful plaster moldings.

The water that filled the tub baths was the sea. It is first heated and then filled into containers. In 1984 it began the construction of a large concert complex "Jubilee", which was to replace the bath Roffe that the project would have to be demolished. However, Sofia Rotaru and music community began to protest against the demolition. That is what made it possible to live up to the bathing of our time.

In 1991, restoration work began on the territory of the baths, during which has been almost completely restored hall and portal building. It Rotaru invested to get started and fully followed the restoration of monuments of architecture. In 1996, the baths have become a monument of local importance.
