Cathedral of the Nativity of the Theotokos - Orthodox Cathedral of the Diocese of Wroclaw, Szczecin, situated in Wroclaw. Earlier, on the site of the cathedral is the chapel at the cemetery, which burned down in 1400. Built in the Gothic style cathedral was made of brick, had a nave of 32, 7 meters long and almost 25 meters wide. In 1526, the church passed into the hands of Protestants, and in the period from 1741 to 1920 was the garrison church.

During World War II, the cathedral was destroyed by 70%, the interior was partially destroyed, in part stolen. All the murals were lost, burnt roof, ceilings collapsed. Restoration work began in 1959 and lasted two years. In June 1963 the Orthodox Church included the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin in the Diocese of Wroclaw. In 1985 was completed the reconstruction of the tower, the roof was replaced.

Despite numerous reconstruction and destruction, the cathedral still retained some valuable items of furniture. The most important of these is the Gothic altarpiece of the main altar with scenes from the life of Saint Barbara. In the church there are two iconostasis: modern, located in front of the altar with icons of the work of Jerzy Nowosielski - the greatest orthodox artist, iconographer. The interior of the cathedral is decorated with murals by Jerzy Nowosielski led.
