Church of the Assumption, according to legend, was founded in 1572 in memory of the inhabitants of the city who died at the hands of the guardsmen. In the middle of the XVI century on the site of the same name was located the monastery and the church was the monastery church until 1761, when the monastery was abolished.

The church is a small domed building on the four pillars with angled arches. In the first half of the XIX century to the church it was added to the refectory and bell tower, and the southern and northern facade were overbuilt porticos.
