National Park of Hristo Botev is on top named Okolchitsa (altitude - 1048 m), which in Vratsa Balkan Mountain, near the village of Chelopek, about 20 km from the town of Vratsa. On Okolchitsa a monument dedicated to the heroism of the famous Bulgarian revolutionary Hristo Botev and his detachment of Representatives, those who gave their lives for the liberation of their country from the Ottoman domination.

Every year in early June, at the foot of the monument is held nationwide worship, members of which are heads of the state and a large number of admirers of Botev. At this point it comes to an end and the national hiking through the steps of Botev detachment, which is called the "Kozloduy - Okolchitsa", which takes place continuously from 1946 to the present day.
