The picturesque location on the banks of the river in the village Busuluk Filonov Volgograd region is an ancient Trinity-Paraskevsky church with two chapels built in the eighteenth century.

The history of the church begins in 1728, when the Cossack village Filonovsky build wooden church in the name of the Great Martyr Paraskeva. A few years later because of constant flooding the village raised a mile up and start to build a stone church already. In 1795 a new church was consecrated two chapels in the name of Martyr Paraskeva and in the name of the Holy Trinity. Beautiful church in a small village was extremely popular before the revolution, the number of parishioners reached twelve thousand. The faithful came from neighboring hamlets and villages. The Trinity-Paraskevskom temple was an honor to perform wedding ceremonies and funerals.

After the arrival of Soviet power many times the temple was closed and opened again. In one of the "discovery" of the church, at Easter in 1948 was attended by about three thousand people. Even in a period of persecution and repression, the trail to the church does not grow. At the urging of citizens Filonovsky Holy Trinity church was opened in March 1965 and more are no longer closed.

Today, the church has kept its holiness in the most difficult times for the Orthodox Church, still also enjoys extraordinary popularity. Young people from all the surrounding area come to get married, and on Sundays and public holidays, going to a lot of believers. The church has a library and a Sunday school. Filonovsky Holy Trinity Church takes care of the children's home, located in the village.
