Cice Lake is located near the village of New Chiche, which is 4 kilometers south of Velika Gorica. Using gravel has created several artificial ponds near the lake, the largest of which is the Novo Cice area of ​​0, 9 square kilometers and a depth of about 50 meters.

With the advent of the lake has decreased groundwater levels, leading to desiccation of wetlands in the area. Currently existing concessions for the exploitation of gravel on the lake Cice ends in 2015, after which the concessionaire will have to restore the coast, because now they are too steep.

For a long time on the south coast of the lake has a large and popular beaches, which were closed due to their non-compliance with competent experts.
