Shipwreck Church of St. Paul - one of the oldest in Valletta. The building was built by the architect Girolamo Cassar in the XVI century. The church interior is decorated with colored marble columns and an abundance of gilded woodcarving. Body decorated with frescoes depicting episodes in the life of the Apostle Paul.
The church houses many relics and precious things, including the hand of the Apostle Paul, the silver throne of the Grand Master, dating from the beginning of the XVIII century and a magnificent carved statue of St. Paul sculptor Gough (1657), which was carried through during a solemn procession through the streets cities.
