Museum and Exhibition Center. Lisa Chaikinoi part of the Tver home of folk art and a methodical center for the conservation of traditional folk culture. It is located in the building of the former Museum of Komsomol Glory named Lisa Chaikinoi and still bears the name of this famous partisan. It hosts all-Russian, inter-regional, international and regional exhibitions of traditional folk arts and crafts, conferences, seminars, workshops, competitions, there is a fund of works of folk art. During the existence of the museum and the exhibition center it is held more than 70 exhibitions.

The main activity of the center is associated with the development of all kinds of genres and amateur art: theater, music, dance, circus, film and photography, folk arts and crafts, poetry and painting. Particular attention is given to development in the center of children's creativity, promotion of folk customs, support for "popular" groups, cultural centers, centers of crafts and folklore. The main theme of the exhibition center's activities is to familiarize people with the works and traditions of folk culture.

Today the Museum and Exhibition Center. Lisa Chaikinoi is the largest dedicated exhibition area in Tver. There are carried out the most complex and diverse exhibition projects, thanks to the spacious rooms, modular equipment, the successful lighting. Meeting allows a meeting at the center, musical evenings, seminars, conferences, organize film screenings.

Employees of the museum and the exhibition center created a whole range of large-scale projects, among them - the exhibition of art and crafts "Wreath of talent," regional exhibition "Tver carvers," "Masters of Toy", "Tver folk costume" .  The idea of ​​the exhibition dedicated to the Tver folk costume, because there was growing interest in historical values ​​in different areas of folk art .  The exhibition is to introduce visitors to the Tver folk costume, with its history and what it has become now! .  The exposure to the clothes of 19-20 centuries from the collections of the museum combined Tver, Tver State University, the All-Russian Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Torzhok, Tver music school Torzhok gold embroidery school, public and school museums, houses of culture, folklore groups, arts and crafts enterprises Tver .  Also, the costumes were represented by collectors and authors of works .  The exhibition was held in 2001, but over the years the center's specialists collected materials about Tver folk costume and participate in national and regional conferences and seminars .  In 2011, on the basis of the center was eaten international forum dedicated to the problems of study and preservation of folk costumes in the CIS . 

The project, called "original art Tver land" allowed the most widely present the works of masters of arts and crafts, artists and photographers Tver. The exhibition "Garland talents" was held five times. And every time she collected for not less than two hundred artists from all areas of the Tver region. Since 2010, when the center has a "School of Excellence", which the students learn the skills of traditional arts and crafts.
