Kebir-Jami Mosque - an outstanding architectural monument of Simferopol, the oldest building in the city. The inscription at the entrance indicates that the mosque was built in 1508 after a fire in 1740, the mosque was restored and rebuilt several times later. Last time it was restored in 1995. It is assumed that the white walls of the mosque gave its name to the medieval town of Ak-Mosque (White Mosque).
