25 km north of Eilat is the historical and archaeological reserve Timna. It is located in a valley surrounded by high cliffs, built of rocks of different colors.

In the park there are several hiking trails are laid. The main road is between the rocks composed of rocks of different (mainly red) color, to the so-called Solomon's pillars, natural geological formations fanciful shapes, and further - to an artificial lake near the abandoned mine, where you can collect the multicolored sand own mint "old" copper coin and take a ride around the lake on a water bike.
