The zoo in the resort town of Blackpool in the UK was established relatively recently, in 1972.

Zoo collection includes a variety of animals. There are elephants, giraffes, lion pride, the Siberian tiger, wallabies and kangaroos. There is an aviary in which the family lives of mountain gorillas, and in 2010 they had a baby. On a walk through the "Lemur Forest" you can see different species of lemurs. The exhibition, entitled "Amazonia" shows the animals and birds that live in South America.

The zoo has a terrarium and enclosures with pools, which contains sea lions and penguins.

In 2005, the exposition "Safari with Dinosaurs", which presents carried a life-size figures of different dinosaurs, but this section does not enjoy great popularity.

Quite different things with "Children's Farm" - aviary where small children can touch and play with the pets: donkeys, sheep, pigs, llamas, pygmy goats and others. There is always a lot of visitors, which once again confirms its reputation as a family resort of Blackpool.
