All Saints Church in Sevastopol - this is the oldest building in the city, located in a rustic beam at the former city cemetery on the street Pozharova, 9 a. The temple festival - June 6th.
The temple was built in 1822 with funds provided by Vice-Admiral FT Bychenskim, who after his death was buried there. The church was designed in a classical style. The basis of the church is represented by cross-domed volume with semicircular apse in the eastern part, a complete drum and dome light. For volume adjoined Phillips refectory. Church steeple bunk, oval, crowned by a spire. The main entrance to the temple is located in the western facade and two side - the north and south. The western facade was decorated with a triangular pediment, central entrance - pilasters.
During the siege of Sevastopol 1854-55. Church took French and Turkish troops, who stole all tsёrkovnoe property and made it stable. After the war, the temple restored merchant Ivan Pikin. The consecration of the shrine in October 1859 by archpriest Arseny Lebedintseva. In 1901, at the Church of All Saints was opened parochial school.
During World War II the church building miraculously survived. Since 1985, the church declared an architectural monument of local importance, in 1990-1995. it repaired: restored columns blocked the roof and dome. The walls of the church, the iconostasis and several kiots were re-painted by Moscow artists.
Quite a long time the Church of All Saints was the only functioning church in Sevastopol. Now at All Saints Church holds regular worship services. Worshipers come to pray at icons, illuminated by light from the unquenchable fire of the holy Sepulcher, delivered from Jerusalem and venerate the holy relics of the particles. The church has a library and a Sunday school for adults and children.
