Museum of ecological knowledge - a museum located in Poznan, is a division of the State Academy of Sciences of Poland. The museum, located in the city center, demonstrates the stuffed animals of different ecological systems.
After the closure of the brewery in 1908, the building, designed by architect Paul Pete, was used as an exhibition center. Before 1925, there were carried out, mainly, artistic events, however, the latest in a former brewery increasingly began to organize exhibitions of the Museum of Natural History. In 1928 a decision was made about the need to overhaul and reconstruction of the building, resulting in the exhibition space of the museum has been expanded.
The museum's collection includes mainly typical Polish stuffed animals, arranged in different ecological systems. Most of the exposure is in glass exhibition cabinets. The exhibition tells visitors about endangered animal species, ecosystems typical of Poland, on the pollution of the environment in terms of harm to animals and plants.
