Goldenberg Mansion, built in the 19th century for the family Yugster, from 1897 to 1898, served as the headquarters of the Spanish Navy. When the Americans in the Philippines were in the house located the residence of the military governor Arthur MacArthur, father of the famous general Douglas MacArthur. It also held a historic meeting of the Senate of the Philippines, 1916.

Later bought the house manufacturer of cosmetics Michael Goldenberg, on behalf of which the house is known to this day. And in 1966, during the rule of President Marcos house was bought by the Government of the Philippines. Its restoration carried Loksin Leandro, favorite architect of the First Lady Imelda Marcos - he decorated the house with antiques, ceramics and books from around the world. Until now, the mansion Goldenberg held official government ceremony. Unfortunately, the public access to the house is limited, and few can actually see artifacts like Chinese furniture made from jade, European chandeliers, rare books, and the Philippine even prehistoric works of art of pottery in Thailand.
