Art Museum "Metropolitan" in Manila specialized in classical and contemporary art. The museum was founded in 1976 for exhibitions of foreign artists, and since 1986 it is also possible to get acquainted with the works of Filipino artists. In the exhibition halls of the Museum "Metroopliten" in different years could see the works of Picasso, Clay, Walter Gropius and other artists. Each year, the museum organized four major exhibition of well-known local and international artists.

The museum consists of four main galleries and several small exhibition space. In the gallery on the ground floor of the building you can see the gold- ages 8-13 (ornaments, ritual figurines, etc.), and a collection of pre-Columbian ceramics of the period. The exhibition "Window to Heaven" shows the amazing Russian icons, but at "Aura: religious art" presented religious images, handmade Philippine craftsmen. Of particular interest is an exhibition consisting of works of the Philippine artist Felix Hidalgo, who created in the late 19th - early 20th century. Collections of Modern Art includes objects of architecture, design, urban planning, etc. In addition, the museum plays host to traveling exhibition from across the country and from abroad, organizes educational projects and charity events.

The building also has a shop «Metshop», where you can buy souvenirs with the symbols of the museum, a library and a conference room.
