Valley of the Queens is located to the southwest of the Valley of the Kings. Here lies a lot of wives and children of the Pharaohs. Half of the 79 tombs have not been identified. At the same time open to visit only a few.

The most famous tomb - Queen Nefertari, favorite wife of Pharaoh Ramses II. The walls of the tombs are decorated with images of Queen in the company of different gods. The burial chamber with four columns painted with scenes from the Book of the Dead. The recently completed restoration of the tomb, so access is strictly limited visitors here.

Amazingly colorful murals preserved in the tomb of Titi. On the walls of the burial chamber can be seen the image of the goddess Hathor in the form of a cow on the background of mountain scenery and it is in human form, animating the queen in the waters of the Nile.

In the tomb of Prince Amonherhepshepa preserved colorful wall paintings with a predominance of the color ultramarine, depicting the pharaoh to accompany his young son to the gods of the underworld. It was found the mummy of a little five-month baby.
