Henryk Sienkiewicz Museum - Branch of the National Museum in Kielce, located in the village Oblengoreke, in the manor of the famous Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz. The village is located 18 kilometers north-west of Kielce.
In 1900, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the literary activity of the future Nobel laureate Polish society organized a collection to buy the property and build a museum of the writer. On this occasion, a civilian committee was formed, which was to prepare a program of celebration.
The act was signed in Kielce July 18, 1900, area 515 hectares of forest and arable land was bought for 51,249 rubles and 59 kopecks. Remaining after the purchase of real estate funds raised were spent on the purchase of building materials, agricultural machinery and livestock. The sculptor created a bust of Pope Pius Velonski writer of white marble, and the Warsaw architect built villa. The estate was built in an eclectic style, it was placed above the entrance family crest family Senkevich. The area around the house was surrounded by a large park with oaks and lindens.

The writer used the mansion as a place for summer holidays and work. After his death, his wife Maria and son Henry Joseph settled in the estate, where they remained until 1944. At the end of the Second World War the estate was nationalized.
Currently, the estate of a museum dedicated to the writer. The first floor has been recreated the look and atmosphere of rooms. In 2007, the writer's granddaughter Maria Kornilovich gave the museum more than 350 exhibits.
The museum organizes numerous concerts, temporary exhibitions, scientific sessions in order to promote knowledge of the life and work of Henryk Sienkiewicz.
