Nydri - a charming small town on the east coast of the Greek island of Lefkada. It is located in a wonderfully scenic location amid olive groves and pine-covered hills and cypress trees about 20 kilometers south of the capital of the island of the same name.

Today, Nidri - one of the best and most popular resorts of Lefkada. Beautiful beaches, crystal-clear and warm waters of the Ionian Sea, and a well-developed tourist infrastructure annually attract huge number of tourists. The port is the center of Nidri Lefkada sailing and the place where every year in September, kicks off the famous Ionian Regatta.

Among the main attractions Nidri can distinguish a small Folklore Museum in the city center and the stunning beauty of the waterfalls Dimossari (about 4 km from Nidri). Certainly worth a visit and a charming little church of St. Kyriaki. Fans of the archeology will be interesting ruins of a prehistoric settlement.

Directly opposite Nydri is a small private island of Skorpios, owned by the family until recently famous Greek billionaire Aristotle Onassis.
