Innokentievskaya church - one of the attractions of the city of Khabarovsk. Innokent'yevskiy temple together with the Assumption Cathedral and Cathedral Transfiguration Cathedral - the main shrine is not only the Khabarovsk and Khabarovsk Krai all.

In 1870, the city on the coast of the river Barry (today - Chardymovka) was built a wooden church, consecrated in honor of St. Innocent of Irkutsk. Construction of the temple, which began in 1868 and ended in 1869, engaged in troop sentry team. The ceremonial consecration of the church took place in June 1870 Kamchatka Bishop Benjamin (Blagonravov).

The wooden church stood for more than a quarter of a century, but eventually decayed and was no longer able to meet all the needs of a rapidly growing city. The revival of the church in honor of St. Innocent of Irkutsk started in 1992 with the revival of the parish community. Restoration of the church lasted for 10 years. In June 2002, it was held a solemn rite of consecration of the restored Church of St. Innocent of Irkutsk.
