Sculpture "Bench health" is one of the most famous monuments of the city of Kemerovo. Established in the territory of the composition of the regional hospital (the Avenue of October) in 2008 on the initiative of the chief doctor of the institution - Michael Likstanova.

The composition consists of two sculptures installed beside the ordinary bench. The first is devoted to sculpture depicts a young nurse and friendly woman in a bathrobe, hurrying to the aid of patients. The second sculpture was installed a month after the first and depicts a doctor, one hand resting on an umbrella, and the other - on the bench. The facial expression of the doctor shows his fatigue, but he is like peering through his glasses in his face unseen patient, trying to establish the correct diagnosis. Complementing the original symbol of the figure of the doctor and at the same time an indispensable tool - stethoscope hanging around his neck. Externally, the figure of the doctor resembles the image of the famous and beloved by children and adults Dr. Dr. Dolittle.

Today the sculpture "Bench health" is the only monument in Kuzbass, dedicated to both the doctor and the nurse. Thus the authors of the monument would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their daily selfless work to save lives. The sculpture was created with funding from the regional hospital.

Visitors to the hospital like a bench to sit on this at least a couple of minutes in an attempt to "improve their health."
