Holy Trinity Church in Irkutsk - is acting Orthodox church, which is located in the historic center of the city, in the streets of the 5th Army. The style of architecture of the church is a vivid example of the "Siberian baroque".

In 1718 he began laying a wooden church in honor of the Holy Trinity with a chapel in the name of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. A modern one-story Trinity Church was built on the site of a wooden. Its construction began in 1754. In May 1763, before the completion of the whole complex of the temple was consecrated warm chapel of the Nativity of Our Lady.

In 1846, Trinity Church made repairs. In January 1866 when it opened a parish elementary school. In the 1930s. the church remained closed. In September 1949, the Regional Executive Committee passed a temple device planetarium.

Modern Trinity Church was restored by architects B. and G. Shutov Orange. After the reconstruction it was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Irkutsk.
