The palace was built by princes Masalskoe in Grodno in the first half of the XVIII century. Not far from the palace it was built him a small copy of Kamenica Masalskoe.
It is known that the original palace was built in the shape of the letter "P" in the plan. Fires in 1753 and 1782 severely damaged the building. After the fire is rebuilt almost from scratch. Its architecture was made later alterations produced during repairs.

After the death of Prince Ignacy Jakub Masalsky in 1795 his palace was rebuilt. He gained more fashionable in those years the features of classicism.
In the 30 years of XIX century palace Masalskoe bought a wealthy Jewish merchant Frumkin. He signed a lucrative contract with the post office and handed him the building of the beginning of XX century.
Nowadays, the palace was chosen Masalskoe Belarusian filmmakers. It was filmed "Traces of the Apostles."
