Lyubostronsky Palace - a palace in the classical style, built in 1795-1800 years, leading architect Stanislaw Zawadzki commissioned by Frederick Skorzhevski. Lubostron name for the palace came up with the owner. It means "a nice secluded place."
Local land were purchased by the Royal Army General Skorzhevski even in 1762. When the property was taken over by his son Frantisek - Frederick, who was a connoisseur and lover of art, the construction of the palace in the village Pilatova. The customer wished that his palace was similar to the famous Villa Rotonda, built in 1552 by Italian architect Andrea Palladio. Work on the interiors lasted about 5 years. Above the stucco work Michal Keptovsky. Directly under the dome can be seen frieze depicting ancient process, below are four historical bas-relief, reflecting the interest in Polish-German relations. The richness of the room and emphasizes the huge brass chandelier. Emphasis is placed on the furnace and old, as well as mirrors.
Lyubostronsky palace remained in the family Skorzhevski until the beginning of World War II, after which he was put under local control. In the 60s the estate interested in the Pomeranian Philharmonic director Andrzej Zvalbe. He urged the government to carry out repair work in the region, and has since 1963 here began to organize concerts. For many years in the palace Lyubostronskom held constant musical events, instrumental concertos, chamber ensembles perform and choruses.
Currently, the palace is a cultural institution, it hosts exhibitions and theatrical performances.
