Usov House is a two-story house, designed in the classical style of the late 18th century. During its long history, the mansion was replaced by more than one owner and has undergone significant changes in its architecture. In the early 40-ies of the 19th century the house was owned by the heir - the son of the well-known merchant, belonged to the second guild, Usov Grigoriy Vasilevich. It is worth noting that during the 1828-1852 Usov's was the mayor, and was the owner of the second house on the street of the Assumption, where now stands the House of Culture.

After the death of Gregory Usov first house passed into the hands of the wife of the deceased, but in 1866 she sold the house to his familial chambers under the so-called "urban space", which was directly related to the town council.
