Bacho Kiro cave - this is one of the most visited Bulgarian caves. It is situated near the town of Dryanovo, in the vicinity of the monastery of St. Michael the Archangel. The natural cave is located in a limestone cliff above the sea level of 335 meters.

As a result of research it was discovered that here in prehistoric times inhabited by people. Archaeologists have found the remains of dwellings, tools, hearths and tools. During the Ottoman yoke from this cave were associated numerous beliefs which asserted that is home to evil spirits and dark forces are rampant. The cave became the first Bulgarian adapted for tourist routes, it was landscaped in 1937, and since 1940 it bears the name of the Bulgarian national revolutionary hero Bacho Kiro - the poet, traveler and teacher who took part in the April Uprising in 1876. In 1962 the cave Bacho Kiro included in the list of hundreds of Bulgarian national tourist sites.

Experienced guides conduct tours inside the cave. For tourists, there are two routes. One of them, a length of 700 meters, takes about 70 minutes, the second half the length - 350 meters, and about half the time.
