House Gorelik is a monument of architecture and urban planning in the city of Donetsk. It was built for the merchant Gorelik in the early 20th century. The facade of the building was built in the Art Nouveau style. A corner of the mansion is decorated with a sharp faceted tower dome. Much earlier in this tower housed the chapel.

Many experts, this house is called the most completely preserved example of quality "Yuzovsky Nouveau". This architectural style was popular in the late 19th - early 20th centuries. Characteristic of the compound liberties in the design, certain pragmatism in the design and comfort in this small detail. This house has two very characteristic element - a balcony with fantastic shapes and green tower. In those days, the architects imposed cultural fashion money to people, and it was not difficult to convince them that doing so in Europe. Before the 1917 revolution, then it settled Bolshevik underground printing. In the very first years of Soviet power in the house was Tudorovskii club. After a radio center is located here. And 1946 is the Provincial Department of the local industry.

Some argue that from the balcony of the house Gorelik read his poetry Vladimir Mayakovsky for an audience of five thousand people.

In 1977, architect Mishchenko, who represented the Institute "Donbassgrazhdanproekt" developed a draft annex to the west end of the mansion. The overall style of the building because it was not broken. Today, this house has regional management "Privat Bank" and "Spetsshahtoburenie."
