Dikļi Castle - one of the oldest estates Palenov kind of background. The estate is located in the village Dikli, which is about 40 km from the Latvian town of Cesis. The first mention of the estate date back to the early 15th century, while the estate belonged to von der Pahlen Gottschalk. The estate belonged to the genus Palenov for three centuries, in the autumn of 1722, together with the village manor was sold Vikyu manager stables. During its long history the manor has repeatedly changed its owners, it is sold, it is simply inherited.

Dikli modern building, built in the Gothic Revival style, built in 1896. While the owner of the manor was Baron P.Volf. Even more ancient than the estate is a stand (pit) of the estate, built in the late 18th century. The cage is made in the style of late classicism.

The building is a distinct addition to the manor park, covering an area of ​​20 hectares. Landscape Park Pond begins. When, in the 60s of the 20th century carried out the study of the park, there were about 20 species of exotic trees, while their age is 30-40 years.

In 2000, the estate was purchased by a private firm for the purpose of restoration and disaster recovery of the castle, as well as buildings belonging to the manor. It was originally developed by the project of restoration, in which since 2002 has started to conduct the restoration work. The restoration was carried out with the preservation and restoration of old parts from the basement to the attic.

For visitors to the castle was opened July 26, 2003. Now this day is celebrated every year as the day of the revival of the estate.

Now the estate operates a hotel, restaurant, sauna complex with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, as well as of SPA and room for events (weddings, banquets). In 2005, the restaurant and the hotel received a certificate of compliance 4 stars.

Cage finished restoring in 2008, it opened a showroom and has additional hotel rooms, in addition, it is equipped with a special cellar for storing wines. In addition, it is planned to open a museum of the history of the manor of Dikli, and an information center for tourists.
