Wat Ratcha Orasaram Buddhist temple is the first top level and contains the official name of an additional console Ratchavoraviharn indicating his rank. The temple is one of the oldest in Bangkok, it was founded in the period of prosperity of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya.

History named Wat Ratcha Orasaram and tells the story of life. The original temple was called Wat Chom Thong, then King Rama II renamed it Ratcha Orot, which means "son of the restored King", who was later crowned Rama III. The current name of the church is a linguistic variation of the original name.

According to legend, the Crown Prince went to war with the Burmese army, exciting Thai territory before an important battle, he and his soldiers stayed overnight at Wat Ratcha Orasaram where the abbot had a special rite of blessing. Prince promised that if he and his army will win - he will return, and will work on the reconstruction of the temple, the Prince kept his word.

The architecture of the temple is sustained in the so-called royal style: it feels like Thai and Chinese influence. Wat Ratcha Orasaram in Thailand was the first built without the typical Thai decorations on the roof viharn (main building) and ubosot (room for religious ceremonies).

The church kept the ancient writing prescriptions Thai herbal medicine, which is an important artifact for modern doctors of the country. To date, 50 recordings preserved carved in the marble slabs of the 92 pre-existing.
