South of Nizhny Novgorod region is famous for its caves and karst failures. Scenic panorama, stone cliffs and precipices with steep walls attracted climbers, hikers and nature lovers. Balahonihinskaya cave, a total area of about 54 hectares, is located on the east side of the old abandoned gypsum quarry at the foot of a steep wall, with a narrow entrance in the form of a slit, a length of 2, 5 meters.
