Kucherlinskoye Lake - one of the most picturesque lakes located in Ust-Koksinsky area in the upper reaches of the river Kucherla, on the northern slope of the Altai mountains Katun ridge. One of the largest of lakes of glacial origin is the Big Kucherlinskoye lake. Its name comes from the word "kudyurlu", which translated from the Altai language means "solonchak".
