In the halls of the Museum of Fine Arts posted an interesting collection of paintings, there regularly hosts exhibitions of Egyptian and foreign artists and performed "Alexandria Biennale" - an exhibition of works by artists of the Mediterranean countries. The museum is housed in a beautiful mansion, which in 1954 gave the city a rich family Menasco. In the garden of the museum is a statue of the work of Mahmoud Mukhtar - the most famous contemporary Egyptian sculptor.
