Greco-Roman Museum was founded in 1891. Here are exhibited 40 thousand items, mainly related to Alexandria and the Delta statues and sarcophagi, papyri and mummies, some Christian antiquity. In the courtyard of the museum is the Crocodile temple with a lot of mummies of crocodiles.
