Constantine and Helen Church - one of the most beautiful religious monuments on the territory of Abakan. The temple was founded in 1988 and its construction lasted for nine years. The church was constructed with funds donated by ordinary citizens, businessmen, representatives of various companies and organizations.

For visitors church of Saints Constantine and Helen opened on the eve of the new year 2008. Dome crosses on the church under construction was consecrated in August 2005. In August 2006, in the courtyard of the temple was consecrated nine bells made at the foundry in Voronezh. The largest bell weighs 1,200 kg, and the smallest - 7 kg. Under the foundation of the altar of the church laid the relics of the holy martyrs Andronicus, Prov and Tarah.

Constantine and Helen Temple unique. Due to its architectural features many works were performed manually. This brick church with the decor, eclectic combining elements of the pre-Petrine epoch architecture. Over the western porch and side porch you can see the great domed trёhapsidny bushel with belfry.

The entire five-tiered iconostasis of the church is decorated with a salary of gold leaf, which was made in April 2010 at the Volgodonsk plant. The mosaic floor decorating the masters used the Byzantine two-headed eagle. Illuminate the elegant three-tiered temple and five-tier chandelier.

Mosaic icons Constantine and Yelena Church are the first and so far the only mosaic icons in the diocese of Abakan and Kyzyl. Eight icons whose height is about 4 m, are located under the dome of the church. It faces of Saints Constantine and Helen, Mother of God, Jesus Christ, Nicholas, George, Catherine, St. Euphrosyne and St. Innocent of Moscow. Mosaic icons of the Krasnoyarsk specialists have over each entrance to the church.
