Olga Equal to the Apostles Church located in the western part of the town of Zheleznovodsk, in Marx Street, 34. The Church, immersed in greenery, stands on a hill among residential area and at the same time away from the hustle and bustle, in the peace and quiet.
At the beginning of 1900. this place was a small Orthodox prayer house, rebuilt in 1940. due to the decay and deterioration. Because the building is still not fit all believers, after a while it was decided to dismantle the old church, and in its place build a church bigger. The construction of the temple lasted from 1988 to 1989 with funds donated by parishioners throughout the Diocese of Baku and Stavropol. With great difficulty, but the church still it was built. The church was consecrated in 1989 in honor of St Princess Olga.
Further, the church passed from hand to hand, passing through many trials. In 1992 it was transferred under the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. The revival of parish life began with the repair and restoration work. By mid-2008, the church was decorated with strikingly handsome iconostasis, made in the technique of colored enamel by local craftsmen, also were made of colored glass stained window. In the church there are icons, paintings, utensils needed for worship. By 2012, the church was again Olga Equal to the Apostles painted white.
In a small area of the temple were placed: small baptismal church, Sunday school, church shop, kitchen, dining room and a small belfry wonderful graceful arch.
