Memorial House-Museum. MK Ammosova Yakutsk - a branch of the Yakut State Museum of History and Culture of the North named after E. Yaroslavsky. The museum is located in the center of the capital of the Sakha Republic - Yakutsk and is part of the architectural-ethnographic complex "Old Town". Memorial house-museum blends perfectly with the newly erected buildings.

In 1976 the house in which he lived and worked for MK Ammosov was included in the register of architectural, historical and cultural monuments under state protection. In 1987, the building was awarded to the official status of a memorial house-museum.

The museum exhibition fully reflects the life and activities of the Soviet state and party leader M. Ammosova, as well as production and economic and socio-political life of Yakutia from 1916 to 1928, illustrates the biography of Soviet and Party Yakut elite 1920-1930 years. In addition, there are stored materials reflecting the movement konfederalistov in Yakutia. In one of the rooms of the house-museum details the history of the expedition of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, which was held on the initiative of Ammosova for a detailed study of the economy and resources of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
