The unique historical and architectural complex "Sarepta" on the southern outskirts of Volgograd - is miraculously preserved buildings Lutheran colonists settlement, founded in 1765 as a fraternity Herrnhuters.

Today, in the historical and architectural complex "Sarepta" includes: a building of the 18th century museum "Old Sarepta" with an exposition of the cultural heritage of the Lower Volga region and the history of the settlement, the church square with a bell tower, a house pharmacist sareptskoj vineyards, medicinal springs, the estate peasant wine cellar with vaulted ceilings, industrial premises (18-19 century), and the tallest building in the settlement - Kirch, where concerts of organ, instrumental and classical music (built in 1772). On the historic main square occur pageants historical battles, festivals of the national culture.

Historical and architectural complex "Sarepta" is considered the most major tourist, cultural and research center of the Volga region.
