In Ueno Park, which in itself is remarkable, and collects a great many visitors during the cherry blossom, is the oldest zoo in Japan. According to magazine Forbes, it is included in a list of fifteen of the best zoos in the world.

Ueno Zoo 130 years - it was founded in 1882. The cages were placed Ueno 2600 animals - representatives of 464 species. The gates of the zoo open to visitors every day except Monday. Visit enclosures may take longer than planned - the zoo is very large - a tour of it you can take the train monorail. In the children's zoo can pet animals and birds - goats, horses, geese and ducks.
