In Arsk region of Tatarstan, in a small village Kyrlay, lush green birch and willow, is a memorial complex of Tatar poet G. Tukai. The complex, founded in 1960, is located in the estate Sagdi, restored as an example of the Tatar farmstead prosperous peasant of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The main building of the complex is a two-storey wooden house, whose architecture combines the features of oriental character with modern style architecture. A beautiful log house is decorated with elegant thin columns, crowning the main portal of the building. At the entrance of the museum is a monument Gabdulla toucan, made the project Baki Urmanche sculptor I.Novoseltsevym.

Gabdulla Muhamedgarifovich Tukaev (1886-1913 gg.) - The national poet of Tatarstan, a public figure, literary critic, translator and publicist. In 1892-1895 years he lived in the village Kyrlay, peasant Sagdi, which joined the peasant life, which played a crucial role in the life and work of G. Tukai.

The six rooms of the museum are arranged exhibits on the life and work of the Tatar poet. On the first floor, decorated with decorative carvings, presented earlier editions of Tukai, archival photographs and reproductions of pre-revolutionary postcards. On the second floor you can get acquainted with the work of artists and masters of decorative art, which reflect the themes of the national poet.

The literary-memorial complex is located in the park area of ​​three hectares on the picturesque banks of the River Iya.
