Swakopmund Municipal Museum was founded in 1951 as a private collection of Dr Alfons Weber. The structure in which the museum is located today, has an interesting history. Former customs building was shelled by the German warship 24 September 1914, the building was restored from the ruins of only forty years later and given muzeyu.Ekspozitsii museum include a panorama of the desert and the sea bottom, a collection of semi-precious stones, rich collection on the history of Swakopmund and the exhibition, which tells about itself the world's largest open pit uranium mining on "Ressing."   I can complement the description
