Sveta Petka Church is a modern Christian church built in the town of Rousse, Bulgaria. The project to build the temple was prepared by architect Luben Dinolovym in May 1939, and at the end of August of the same year, construction began, which lasted about 5 years.

The temple has a size - 30 meters long and 17 wide. The diameter of the dome is about 13 meters, and the height of the bell tower, which is crowned by a cross - almost 23 meters.

The church installed a beautiful iconostasis masters handmade George's genes, and the icon for it were created by artist George Karakshevym of Ruse. Other icons of the church were painted by the artist Todor Yankov and Nicole Pindikovym.

It is known that the total amount spent on the construction of more than two million leva. April 30, 1944 the church was consecrated by Metropolitan Dorostolskim and Michael Cherven.

Later on the temple walls were beautiful frescoes created by masters Nikola Kozhuharovym, Tsanko Vasilyev and Peter Mikhailov. June 30, 1965 the frescoes were consecrated by Metropolitan Dorostolskim and Cherven Sophronius.

The architectural design of this temple was the first (and I must say successful) attempt to restore the image of the famous Round Church of Veliki Preslav, built by Tsar Simeon I.
