The open air museum is located in the Polish city of Radom Mazowieckie Province. Rural Museum is located in the scenic hilly location on the southwestern outskirts of the city on the territory of 32 hectares. The exhibition tells about the culture and architecture of Radom and surrounding villages.

The open air museum was founded in 1977. Since its inception, the main purpose of the museum is the collection and preservation of Polish folk architecture. The oldest monument in the museum is the church of Saint Dorota 1749. The museum also has a collection of windmills built in different architectural styles. Currently, a permanent exhibition of open-air museum has more than 60 objects. The museum has a cafe where you can taste the popular dishes. The exposition allows guests to enjoy the rural life of the beginning of the twentieth century.

In large areas of the museum are grown rare plants and animal species, some divorced. Also, the museum boasts a unique collection of agricultural machinery and archival materials related to the development of agriculture in the region.

Every year there are a variety of activities aimed at promoting the national culture among the younger generation. One of the most popular events is the festival of bread. In winter, on the museum annually historical reconstruction of the January Uprising, which attracts participants from different parts of the country.
